CSA Committee Election 2023

The CSA has adopted the TeamApp survey system for the AGM Committee Election in 2023.

This system enables all registered and life members to vote even if they are not at the AGM.

Voting will open at least 24h before and close during the AGM.   If insufficient votes are recorded to reach a quorum then the online election will be invalid and the election will take place via a count at the AGM. In this case, only those present will be counted, no absent or proxy votes will be accepted.

ELECTION 2023

All positions with one (1) nomination are considered to be elected unopposed.

The following positions have multiple nominations and will go to election:
- President
- Social Coordinator
- Media & Website
- Women's B Rep

At the AGM, nominations from the floor will be sought for the following unfilled positions:
- Women's A Rep

 

ENROL TO VOTE

- Only registered members and life members can vote.
- Members wishing to vote must enrol as described below.
- The election form (survey) is only visible to those in the "Members 2023" or "Life Members" access group.

To vote, members need a smart phone or computer with internet access plus

  • Log-in on TeamApp (app or web) - best to use the same email as used for registration this season
  • Join us (become a member) on TeamApp
  • Request to join the “Members 2023” access group.

 

VOTE IN OUR TEST ELECTION

- A test election has been setup and will close 8:00pm, FRI 18 AUG 2023.
- If you cannot see/access the test election then you will NOT be able to participate in the AGM election unless you take some action.
- Please see the trouble shooting section on the info sheet.

VOTING VIA THE APP

  1. Open Stack TeamApp app
  2. Log-in or sign-up using the same email address as used for registration this season.
  3. Open the CSA TeamApp homepage.
  4. Tap the “Canning Softball Association” name below the logo to update/refresh.
  5. Tap the "Survey Open" banner above the CSA logo
    or
    1. Tap “Settings” (gear icon) at top right
    2. Tap “Survey Open”.
    3. Tap “Committee Election”
  6. Select your candidates then tap “SAVE” to vote.

VOTING VIA THE WEBSITE (mobile or desktop)

  1. Open the CSA TeamApp homepage www.canningsoftball.org.au 
  2. Log-in or sign-up using the same email address as used for registration this season.
  3. Tap “Settings” (gear icon) at top right.
  4. Tap “Survey Open”.
  5. Tap “Committee Member Election”
  6. Select your candidates then tap “SAVE” to vote.

   
VOTING BY LIFE MEMBERS

- Life member may vote via a paper form.
- Votes from life members will be added to the result of the online vote.
- Form is available from the bar at the AGM or via download at

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you cannot see the survey then check the following:

  1. Have you signed-in on teamapp?  Check your account email using “Settings” (gear icon).
  2. Have you joined CSA on teamapp?  If you have joined CSA on Teamapp then you should not see a banner “Request to join” at the top of the CSA logo.
  3. Is the email used for your teamapp account the same as you used to register with CSA this season?  Check “Settings” (gear icon) and the confirmation email you received after registration from “Google Forms”.
  4. Are you in the “Members 2023” access group?  Check your access groups under “Settings” (gear icon).  You can request access to the group for the registrar to approve up to 24h before the election.
  5. Have you refreshed the site/app?  On the app, tap “Canning Softball Association” below the CSA logo.
  6. Has the survey already closed?  Test survey finishes 8:00pm Fri, 18/08/2023.
