CSA Paid Positions Vacant


We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
- Line marker 

- Equipment transporter 

- Bar Fridge Load/Reload

- Bar Assistant #1

- Bar Assistant #2

- Outside Bar setup/packup

Each position is described below.

Job Descriptions

 

Line Marker - VACANT

CSA provides the equipment, instructions, paint and access to the paint storeroom.

Payment:  $300 per setup (10 diamonds), $150 per remark (10 diamonds)

Hours:  Before each game/final - any time Wednesday to Friday or Saturday before 10:30am

Responsibilities:

a. Service and maintain the Association’s line marking equipment.

b. Mark all diamond lines as per the Official Softball Rules. Not in 2023

c. Arrange purchase and delivery of line marking paint.  Not in 2023

d. Remark the diamonds lines fortnightly, or as required.

e. Reposition the diamonds as required so as to manage wear on the grounds.

f. Provide invoices or receipts for paint or equipment to Treasurer for payment or reimbursement.

g. Maintain the storage area in a tidy manner.

h. Keep keys for the line marking storeroom.

 

Bar Fridge Load/Reload - FILLED

This job can be done by 1 or 2 people on alternate weeks or split as load and reload.

Payment:  $25 per hour

Hours:  Saturday games/finals - 10:00-11:00am (load), 5:30-6:30pm (reload)

Requirements:  Must be 18+

Responsibilities (load):

a. Move full cartons into back fridges

b. Load front fridges

Responsibilities (reload):

a. reload front fridges

  

Bar Assistant #1 - FILLED

Payment:  $25 per hour

Hours:  Saturday games/finals - 11:30 - 6:30pm

Requirements:  Must be 18+ and have RSA qualification.

Responsibilities:

a.  Setup inside bar, move cartons and load fridges.

b.  Sell food and drinks (including alcohol).

c.  Handle cash and EFTPOS payments.

d.  Assist with food prep (heating pies, cooking toasties, etc)

e.  Reload fridges.
f.  Packup/cleaning inside bar.

g.  Other tasks as directed by the bar manager.

 

Bar Assistant #2 - FILLED

Payment:  $25 per hour

Hours:  Saturday games/finals - 1:30 - 5:00pm

Requirements:  Must be 18+ and have RSA qualification.

Responsibilities:

a.  Sell food and drinks (including alcohol).

b.  Handle cash and EFTPOS payments.

c.  Assist with food prep (heating pies, cooking toasties, etc)

d.  Reload fridges.

e.  Other tasks as directed by the bar manager.

 

Outside Bar Setup/Packup - FILLED

This job can be done by 1 or 2 people on alternate weeks or split as setup and packup, age 14+.

Payment:  $25 setup, $25 packup

Hours:  Saturday games/finals - 11:00-11:30am setup & 6:00-6:30pm packup

Responsibilities (setup):

a. Setup bar boundary rope and signage before 11:30am.

b. Open, check condition, put soaps, hang signs on toilets and change rooms.

c. Move rubbish bins from storage cages to bar area before 11:45am.

Responsibilities (packup):

a. Check condition, remove soaps & signs and lock toilets and change rooms.

b. Refill soaps when required.

c. Move rubbish bins to storage cages after close.

d. Packup bar boundary rope and signage at close.

 

Equipment Transporter - VACANT

This job can be done by 1 or 2 people on alternate weeks or split as setup and packup.

Committee will make a team duty roster for an assistant for setup and packup.

Trailer is provided by CSA.

Payment:  $50 setup, $50 packup

Hours:  Saturday games/finals - 10:30-11:30am setup & 4:45-5:45pm packup

Requirements:  Provide a suitable towing vehicle (light SUV with towbar). 

Responsibilities (setup):

a.  Collect keys from the Bar and unlock the storage shed and gates.

b.  Transport diamond equipment (excluding gazebos) from storeroom to diamonds before 11:30am.  Following the designated route.

c.  Move umpire’s equipment trolleys to bar area.

d.  Remove soccer goals on diamond 9.

Responsibilities (packup):

a.  Check and sanitize umpire’s equipment after late game before storage.

b.  Move umpire’s equipment trolleys from bar to storeroom.

c.  Transport diamond equipment (excluding gazebos) from diamonds to storeroom and pack away neatly after games conclude.  Following the designated route.

d.  Check and lock the storage shed, gates and return keys to bar.

e.  Replace soccer goals on diamond 9.
