SELECTION OF DIVISIONAL REPRESENTATIVES
As in 2025, in an effort to improve the diversity of clubs and teams represented on the committee, a lottery scheme will been developed to fill any vacant divisional representative positions prior to the season commencing. The scheme is detailed in the By-Laws.
If nobody volunteers for the vacant positions then the draw will take place at the delegates meeting.

2026 MIXED SLOW PITCH CARNIVAL
This will be run again this year on the 11/04/2026, further details to follow, so start getting those teams together.

TEAM FEES & DUE DATES
Team fees Have changed for 2026 due to the council increasing costs.
Team EOI fee = FREE
Team entry deposit (non-refundable) = $50 due SAT 11 MAR 2026 (4 weeks before round 1)
Team entry fee (discounted) = $1050 if paid before SAT 16 MAY 2026 (round 3)
Team entry fee (full) = $1150 to be paid before SAT 13 JUNE 2026 (round 6)

NEW TEAMS
New teams are welcome at CSA.
Teams in all our leagues are limited and therefore returning clubs and teams (from the last season) are given priority re-entry before new teams are offered spots based on receipt of Team EOI Forms.

RETURNING CLUBS/TEAMS
To secure priority re-entry, returning clubs/teams must submit a Team EOI form or Team Nomination/Entry form and pay the Team Entry deposit by SAT 28 FEB 2026 (App 6 weeks before round 1).

TEAM GRADING
To create a balanced competition, some teams may not be able to be placed in their preferred league.
Final team grading will be announced when the fixtures are published.

PLAYER/MEMBER REGISTRATION
Will open in March, date TBA.

NOTE
Player Registrations
To maintain fairness and to minimise any risks that may be associated with this competition, participants must compete in the category that corresponds to their Sex/Gender assigned at birth (male or female). This rule applies equally to all participants and is based on the competition’s eligibility criteria.

SCOREBOOKS
Scorebook will no longer be provided FREE this season, these will be available at the bar for $10 per book.

GAME BALLS
Please note: CSA will provide Balls for the 2026 season, as of 2027 and continuing seasons CSA will only be providing GF game balls. Please ensure your team/teams plan ahead to ensure that you have enough legal good condition game balls for the season.
Game Ball Guidelines for 2027
To ensure fairness and consistency throughout the season:
The home teams will be responsible for providing two official game balls for every match.
Both balls must be in excellent condition and fully compliant with league regulations.
The visiting team may not influence or dictate which balls are used during play.
Should the umpire assess that the balls fall below the acceptable standard, they are to be immediately withdrawn from use and the home team will be required to substituted these with higher‑quality balls.
