Welcome to week 13
Committee Reminder: Upholding Standards at Canning Softball Association
The committee would like to remind all members—including spectators—that everyone is expected to follow the Bylaws set by the Canning Softball Association.
During the winter season, teams are required to complete a small number of duties while participating. These responsibilities help ensure the smooth running of each game day. Committee members are on site from 9:00 AM to prepare the grounds and facilities so that everyone can enjoy the day.
It is disappointing that a small number of individuals continue to disregard these expectations. Such behaviour undermines the efforts of volunteers and could have a serious impact on the future of the association.
We ask all members to:
Respect one another
Play the game in the spirit it was intended
Support the association when called upon
Together, we can maintain a positive, and well-functioning environment for all.
REMINDERALCOHOL CONSUMPTION OUT OF THE DESIGNATED DRINKING ZONE6b. Alcohol (Possession and Consumption)
Delegates, players, all members are reminded that alcohol must only be consumed within designated areas. This rule was clearly communicated during the first delegates meeting and outlined in the delegates letter. At that time, all delegates received a first and final verbal warning.
Teams are still being fined for drinking outside of the
DESIGNATED ZONE, absolutely no BYO alcohol to be brought on to the grounds, you are also responsible for your spectators.
No alcoholic drinks to be removed from the
DESIGNATED ZONE and taken into the carpark when you leave the ground.
CAUTION To ensure compliance with our liquor license, the committee has now adopted a zero-tolerance policy. Fines and penalties—including possible suspension—will be enforced for any violations.
Your full cooperation is expected. Thank you for helping us uphold our licensing obligations.
