Welcome to week 11

APPRECIATION
Thank you to those that came to the mid season delegates meeting, unlike other associations we only ask you to join us twice a season, so appreciate the effort.

ENCLOSED SHOES
Enclosed footwear must be worn when base umpiring or base coaching.

REMINDER AGAIN
UMPIRING PLATE, BASE & BASE COACHING
Plate umpires are required to be over the age of eighteen (18) years unless being mentored by our chief umpire, and need committee approval via email communication before they may do so. They will also be required to be registered as an umpire for insurance purposes. Please approach our chief umpire if you wish to have anyone under the age of 18 to complete any umpiring at CSA.

UMPIRES
5. All Umpires must be at assigned diamonds at least ten (10) minutes prior to commencement of the game.

FORFIET NOTICES
Please ensure that if you forfeit, that you follow the bylaw process, so that the other teams and umpires are notified. This will also effect diamond set up and pack up for teams.

UNIFORMS
Unless a request has been put through to the committee all teams should be in uniform by now.

TEAM ROSTER LIMITS
All teams may register a maximum of twenty (20) players for their team entry
fee. Additional players may be registered throughout the season, as necessary. Additional players are considered unregistered until the per player $25 extra player fee is paid.
Deregistration – There will be no ability to deregister a player once that player has played 1 or
more games for the team.

REMINDER AGAIN
Please pack the equipment on the diamonds away correctly after the late games fines will apply to teams that do not do this and leave it for the equipment pack up team to do this correctly for them.
Fines are still being Handed out and it is week 11
Two people as well as the equipment person are also required for drop off and pick up duties
Shelters have numbers allocated on the bags please remove from your corresponding diamond number and put back in the corresponding numbered spots allocated

Pitching Rule Bylaw 17. Playing Rules Pitching
Please ensure you adhere to the CSA pitching rules, anyone repeatedly being pulled up for illegal pitching will run the risk of not being able to continue pitching.

DIAMOND UPDATES
The CSA Committee will remind the teams if there is only one game scheduled on any of the diamonds that they will need to set up and pack up after their game.

Please be aware that the fine will increase each time a team repeats not doing their team duty and leaves this for members of the committee to complete.

PLEASE ensure that you do not drink outside the designated areas fines apply, all delegates were given a first and final verbal warning at the first delegates meeting, this was also included in the delegates letter. Fines will now apply and the fines have also been increased this season.

Please read the Code of Conduct again, those that are found breaching the conduct will receive warnings and fines.

SMOKING/VAPING
Reminder no smoking or vaping on the side lines please. Fines will be issued.

GAZEBOS
You may use our Gazebos stored in the green shed, but you must return after each game. Before packing down after the first game slot you can ask the next team if they’d like to use it, but you need to remind them it’s their teams responsibility to return it back to the shed! Please remember there are fines for leaving the gazebos on the diamonds.
