Welcome back after the long weekend, hope you all enjoyed the break.

FINES
Several fines have already been handed out to multiple teams this season, these include, equipment not being packed away correctly, duties not being completed, Alcohol consumption out of the zoned off area, scorecards not being completed correctly.
The rules and bylaws are there for a reason please abide by them.

UMPIRING PLATE, BASE & BASE COACHING
Plate umpires are required to be over the age of eighteen (18) years unless being mentored by our chief umpire, and need committee approval via email communication before they may do so. They will also be required to be registered as an umpire for insurance purposes. Please approach our chief umpire if you wish to have anyone under the age of 18 to complete any umpiring at CSA.
Base umpiring and base coach’s are required to be over the age of eighteen (18) years.

DIAMOND UPDATES
The CSA Committee will remind the teams if there is only one game scheduled on Diamond 8, 9 or 10 that they will will need to set up and pack up after their game.

Bandits to set up and Peppars to Pack Away the diamond please.

Please ensure all diamond gear is packed away as shown on the team duties Instructions, fines will apply if this is not done correctly and left for the equipment late pick up team at the end of the day.

Please be aware that the fine will increase each time a team repeats not doing their team duty and leaves this for members of the committee to complete.

PLEASE ensure that you do not drink outside the designated areas fines apply, all delegates were given a first and final verbal warning at the first delegates meeting, this was also included in the delegates letter. Fines will now apply and the fines have also been increased this season.

BY-LAWS, CODES OF CONDUCT & INSURANCE
By-Laws and all other documents are available under DOCUMENTS on our app and web.
Please read the Code of Conduct again, those that are found breaching the conduct will receive warnings and fines.

SMOKING/VAPING
Reminder no smoking or vaping on the side lines please. Fines will be issued.
Please refer to section 6 in the Bylaws.

SCORECARDS
Each team must have a completed scorecard to hand to the plate umpire and base umpires for signing and handing into the scorebox at the canteen. This is also reflected in the Bylaws Amended May. See section 3a.

Examples have been given to how the score cards should be completed to make the registrars job as easy as possible, all areas must be filled in, fines will be allocated to those teams that do not do these correctly.

Bylaws amended in May 2025 to make sure the scoring section was cohesive on the document in regards to scoring and the score cards.

GAZEBOS
You may use our Gazebos stored in the green shed, but you must return after each game. Before packing down after the first game slot you can ask the next team if they’d like to use it, but you need to remind them it’s their teams responsibility to return it back to the shed! Please remember there are fines for leaving the gazebos on the diamonds.
