As we start preparing for finals in a few weeks we are looking for umpires that would like to be added to the roster for the finals series.

- If your team is using a Gazebo, it is your responsibility to pack it up and return it back to the green shed after your game.
PARKING- A gentle reminder to all our members not to park on the foot path please. Please do not abuse the council workers/rangers while they are writing up warnings or fines.
CODE OF CONDUCT – Bylaw 30- Reports are still coming in about disregarding our code of conduct.
- Please be kind to everyone, we don’t tolerate acts of aggression or discrimination.
- The Committee may impose any of the penalties to a first offense, you have all been warned week after week about the Code of Conduct.
SMOKING, VAPING & DRINKING Bylaw 6- Smoking on the sidelines is not allowed, please move away if you need to smoke.

- No BYO alcohol permitted at CSA grounds.
- Please drink between the ropes around the bar.
- If you are caught drinking on sidelines, the committee will contact your delegate. As per Bylaw 6b there is no drinking allowed outside the designated areas.
- You could receive an on spot $1000 fine to the person responsible, and CSA could be fined $10,000 plus lose our liquor license.
- If you are collecting cans, please put them in a box or a bag when at your diamonds.
DOGS – Bylaw 36All dogs are required to have their leads on, and under effective control at ALL times as per the CSA bylaws.
PACKING UP THE DIAMONDS- Please make sure the bases and pins are all put away in the bag supplied with the zips closed and nets rolled properly with the pins inside the netting.
- Pitching mat needs to be rolled up.
Our volunteers are spending more and more time repacking the diamond equipment each Saturday due to carelessness from some teams.
- Any bags not packed up properly will result in your team being sent a fine.

- Please respect your umpires – they are your officials for the game.
INJURIES- You must record any injuries or incidents on the scorecard and have all umpires sign the card.
– Once cards have been handed in by the umpires, they CAN NOT be amended.
SCORECARDS- Both teams must have a scorecard for umpires to sign.
-Umpires are responsible for handing cards to the canteen for the Registrar
- Scorecards to go into the mail box.
UMPIRE GEAR- Anyone who borrows the gear must return the umpire gear back to the racks exactly how they were prior to borrowing.
- Clubs that were rostered on to umpire will be contacted in due course about umpire gear being left behind on the diamond.
BAT REQUIREMENTS Bylaw 33Banned bats
- Some bats with ASA markings have been banned for non-compliance.
- For safety reasons, banned bats must not be used at all in this competition.

- Approved and Non-Approved Bats and Batted Ball Speed (BBS) Test Certification All bats used in this competition shall:
- If the same bat is found to be being used repeatedly by the same team the games this bat are found to be being used in will automatically become a 7 – 0 forfeit with the points going to the opposing team.
- Any bat that cannot be identified or the manufacturer’s model number is covered should be removed from the game.
